Kei's arm flared up a little today and decided to skip Hawaii next week.
Kei has come a long way and is already playing three sets a day pain free.
However, Kei wants to make sure that he is able to do this 4 or 5 days in a row before he goes to a tournament.

from IMG: Update on Kei Nishikori
Little update on Kei Nishikori. Following his Kei's small surgery, Kei has been working on rehab and getting fit at the NTC in Tokyo. Most his work consists of getting his arm stronger again (after not playing for several months) and getting the rest of his body match fit.
Kei started hitting this week and everything is going 100% according to plan. In the beginning Kei was just hitting with the soft (kids) balls but he has not slowly made the switch to regular tennis balls. We are currently working on the plan for Glenn Weiner from the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy coaching staff to join Kei in Japan before he goes back to Florida in December.
I will keep you posted in the weeks to come.
Best,
Olivier
